High-Pressure Hydrogen Valve Fluid Dynamics Expert

Job ID: 38524463

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I'm in need of an experienced engineer who specializes in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for validating a high-pressure hydrogen valve design. The main focus will be on analyzing the fluid flow, specifically turbulence modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fluid flow analysis using FEA and CFD
- Use ANSYS Fluent for turbulence modeling
- Assist in the design validation of the valve

Ideal candidates should have:
- Proven experience in fluid flow analysis
- Expertise in turbulence modeling
- Proficiency in ANSYS Fluent
- Background in high-pressure valve design is a plus

Your skillful analysis will ensure the safety and reliability of the valve in handling high-pressure hydrogen.

Deliverable 1: Finite Element Analysis
Task 1: Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Valve Components
Objective: To validate the valve design against the specified pressure conditions using Finite Element Analysis.
Utilize the provided STEP files and working conditions to simulate both static and dynamic stresses on the valve components.
Perform both static and dynamic FEA simulations to assess the structural integrity of the valve.

Deliverable 2: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis and Flow Loss Analysis
o model the valve and the hydrogen flow through it using CFD, ensuring the valve can handle the flow conditions and pressure of 700 bar.
Perform a CFD analysis to model the hydrogen flow through the valve.
