FEA Specialist for Armor Impact Simulation

I need an experienced FEA specialist to replicate and validate simulation results from the paper "Study of the Ballistic Impact Behavior of Protective Multi-Layer Composite Armor" (CMES, 2024).

Requirements:
- Model a multi-layer composite armor (CFRP/Al₂O₃ ceramic/UHMWPE) impacted by a 12.7 mm API projectile at 400 m/s.
- Use Abaqus/Explicit (preferred), ANSYS AUTODYN, or LS-DYNA.
- Include advanced material behaviors:
- Johnson-Holmquist (JH-2) damage model for Al₂O₃ ceramic
- Hashin failure criteria for CFRP
- Ductile plasticity for UHMWPE
- Simulate all four stacking configurations from the paper
- Reproduce stress, displacement, and velocity profiles
- Compare results with the publication through visual plots and quantitative data

Deliverables:
- Simulation files
- Result plots
- Concise report summarizing methodology, assumptions, and validation accuracy

Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Abaqus/Explicit, ANSYS AUTODYN, or LS-DYNA
- Strong understanding of advanced material models and failure criteria
- Experience in ballistic impact simulations
- Ability to produce accurate and comparable simulation results
