CFD Simulation: Horizontal Buffer Tank Stratification & Pressure Drop Analysis -- 2
Budget: $150 – $250 USD
We need an experienced CFD freelancer (preferably with ANSYS Fluent) to urgently DO ONE SIMULATION horizontal cylindrical chilled water buffer tank under the following:
Objectives:
Transient analysis up to 600sec, incompressible water
Observe flow stratification during vertical discharge
Evaluate turbulence behavior, buoyancy effects, and temperature layers
Simulate a power failure scenario (inlet stops abruptly)
Tank Specs (Current Model):
Diameter: 3880 mm
Length: 7414 mm
Flow Rate: 105.9 L/s
Warm inlet (left), cold outlet (right)
Internal flow control rings at inlet
Requirements:
Fluent experience mandatory (show past work)
Able to generate good quality mesh (tetrahedral or hybrid)
Apply correct boundary conditions (mass flow rate, temp in/out)
Simulate thermal stratification
Provide results: velocity vectors, temperature contours, turbulence intensity
Deadline:
Must be completed in less than 24hours
Prefer candidates who can start immediately (today)
