CBCT Data Processing for Biomechanical FEA
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Title:
Processing CBCT Data for FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and Biomechanical Evaluation
Project Description:
Hello!
I am looking for a specialist to process CBCT data for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of bone structures. The project involves the following tasks:
1. Processing CBCT Files and Preparing the Model
• No segmentation is required – only a processed mesh suitable for FEA is needed.
• STL or OBJ format is NOT required – the final output should be in a format that can be directly used in FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, or compatible alternatives).
• High-quality mesh generation is essential, with properly structured volumetric meshing.
2. FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Preparation and Execution
• Material properties must be assigned correctly:
• Young’s Modulus (Elasticity Modulus) – Appropriate values for bone should be applied.
• Density – Must match the biomechanical characteristics of the bone.
• Poisson’s Ratio – Should be set according to real bone properties.
• Types of analysis required:
• Structural stress analysis
• Deformation distribution
• Mechanical stability assessment
• Application of boundary conditions and force simulations
Required Skills:
✅ Experience with CBCT data processing
✅ Proficiency in FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL) for biomechanical analysis
✅ Optimization of mesh quality and generation of volumetric meshes
Project Timeline and Budget:
• Deadline: Maximum 2 weeks (intermediate results should be provided).
• Budget: $100-$400, depending on experience (negotiable).
How to Apply:
? When applying, please include:
1️⃣ Examples of similar work you have done before.
2️⃣ The software you will use and your approach to the project.
3️⃣ Estimated completion time.
High-quality and precise execution is essential. If you have experience in this field, I would love to collaborate with you. Thank you!
