Description:
I am conducting a nonlinear time history analysis in ETABS and have an existing structural model already set up. The issue I’m facing is specifically related to the definition and adjustment of nonlinear hinges (moment and/or shear) for beams and columns.

I am looking for an expert in ETABS nonlinear analysis who can:

Review my current hinge assignments.

Suggest and implement appropriate hinge properties (plastic hinges) based on FEMA 356, ASCE 41, or similar guidelines.

Ensure convergence and stable behavior during the time history analysis.

Possibly assist in interpreting results related to hinge performance if needed.


The model is already prepared, and ground motion data is available. I only require support with the nonlinear hinge configuration to achieve valid and practical analysis results.

Requirements:

Proven experience in nonlinear modeling in ETABS.

Strong understanding of hinge modeling standards and parameters.

Ability to work remotely and deliver within a short time frame.
