3D Ansys Model of Superconducting Cable
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I am currently seeking an experienced Ansys Discovery software user to create a detailed, 3D model of a superconducting cable. The primary goal of this model is to simulate and analyze the thermal properties of the cable. In particular, I am interested in the Liquid Nitrogen flow within the cable and its impact on the cable's thermal performance.
Key Tasks:
- Building a comprehensive 3D model of the superconducting cable using Ansys Discovery software
- Running simulations to analyze the thermal behavior of the cable
- Focusing especially on the Liquid Nitrogen flow and its implications on the cable's thermal properties
Desired Outcomes:
- Evaluation of efficiency of high-performance multilayer thermal insulation
- Understanding the impact of the concentric spacers in the LN2 annulus on the flow and bridging
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in Ansys Discovery software
- Experience in simulating and analyzing thermal properties of complex structures
- Prior work with superconducting cables or cryogenic systems is a plus
I am looking for a freelancer who can not only create an accurate and detailed model but also be able to interpret the results and provide insights on improving the cable's thermal performance.
