ABAQUS/FEA Expert for Nonlinear Composite and Fatigue Modelling
I am looking for an experienced ABAQUS specialist with the following required skills:
Advanced experience with ABAQUS/CAE and ABAQUS/Standard
Strong knowledge of 3D nonlinear finite element modelling
Proven experience with Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP)
Experience modelling concrete, mortar or cement-based composites
Experience modelling textile, fibre or composite reinforcement
Strong understanding of solid, truss, beam and embedded elements
Experience with material damage, cracking and tensile softening
Knowledge of fracture-energy regularisation and mesh-dependent damage
Experience with cyclic loading and fatigue analysis
Ability to model stiffness degradation and progressive damage
Experience performing mesh-sensitivity and convergence studies
Ability to validate numerical models against experimental stress–strain data
Strong ABAQUS post-processing skills, including stress, strain, damage and reaction-force extraction
Experience creating and editing .cae, .inp and .odb files
Good knowledge of ABAQUS Python scripting for model automation and result extraction
Ability to provide clear modelling documentation and explain all assumptions
Ability to deliver a fully editable and reproducible ABAQUS model
Applicants should provide examples of similar ABAQUS projects, especially involving concrete damage, composite materials, cyclic loading or fatigue modelling.
