Comprehensive Financial Planning Software Build
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I need a single, cohesive application that handles the full spectrum of client-facing financial work—from initial needs analysis all the way through detailed life-insurance illustrations. The core of the system must include the following modules:
• Needs analysis tools that let me capture household data, identify shortfalls, and produce side-by-side “current vs. recommended” summaries.
• Life-insurance calculators covering permanent, term, and SUL products, with death-benefit projections, premium illustrations, and what-if scenarios.
• Retirement planning and cash-flow/budgeting functions that track income, expenses, and assumed growth rates, then roll everything into an easy-to-read retirement outlook.
• Automatic report generation (PDF and Excel) so I can hand clients a polished package immediately after our meeting.
Clean, intuitive navigation is critical; the fewer screens the better. If a web solution makes integration easier, I’m open to that, but an offline desktop build works too—whichever route you can deliver fastest without sacrificing stability.
Deliverables I expect by project end: the compiled application, well-commented source code, and a concise user guide outlining each workflow. Once I can run the software, load a test client, and generate a complete report without errors, the job is considered accepted.
Timeline is tight, so please outline the milestones you’d hit first (e.g., needs analysis engine, then insurance calculators, then reporting). If you already have libraries or past work in this space, feel free to leverage them to speed things up, provided licensing allows full commercial use.
Let’s get this built and in front of my clients as soon as possible.
