Freelance Opportunity: Business Acquisitions Specialist (M&A)
I am seeking experienced professionals to join a team on a part-time, on-call basis to support business acquisitions and mergers. This role offers the potential to transition into a more permanent position with competitive bonuses.
What I’m Looking For:
Candidates with proven skills and a track record in at least one of the following areas:
• Business acquisitions and mergers (M&A)
• Risk management related to acquisitions
• Project management of acquisition or integration processes
• Financial structuring expertise, including leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and asset-based lending (ABL)
• Experience in using business assets strategically to finance acquisitions
The team will:
• Work with lenders and business owners to assess acquisition opportunities
• Conduct due diligence/assessments on target companies
• Support structuring and negotiation of deals, including asset-based financing and leveraged buyouts
• Provide expert advice on project management and risk mitigation throughout the acquisition lifecycle, with an option to continue after the acquisitions.
• Be available for consultations and calls between 2 PM and 8 PM UTC
Requirements:
• Demonstrable experience in acquisitions, risk management, project management, or financial structuring
• Strong understanding of asset-based lending and leveraged buyouts preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with lenders and business owners professionally, as well as being able to form personal connections with the respective parties throughout the acquisition process
• Availability during the specified hours for on-call discussions
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
