Debt Management Expert Needed

We’re seeking an experienced Debt Management and Debt Resolution Specialist to handle client enrollment, creditor negotiations, and ongoing communication for our consumer credit relief service. You will work directly with clients and creditors to manage two primary offerings:

Debt Management Plans (DMP):

Set up and maintain DMPs with major banks and credit card companies.

Negotiate lower interest rates and fee waivers.

Coordinate monthly payments and monitor creditor compliance.

Debt Resolution Programs (DRP):

Contact creditors for settlement offers on delinquent or charged-off accounts.

Negotiate lump-sum or structured settlements.

Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on debt forgiveness.

Responsibilities:

Review client credit reports and account statements

Enroll clients into suitable DMP or DRP programs based on situation

Manage all creditor communications (email, phone, portal)

Track progress and ensure clients stay compliant

Submit monthly reports to our team

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working at or with a credit counseling agency, debt settlement company, or related financial service

Familiar with how banks handle hardship plans and structured settlements

Organized, responsive, and client-focused

Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)

Bonus: Bilingual (Spanish)
