B2B Software Pricing Strategy
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My team has built a project-management software application for business users, and it is now at the stage where a solid, data-driven pricing model will make or break adoption. I need a clear strategy that positions the product competitively, maximises revenue, and aligns with the way B2B buyers evaluate SaaS tools.
Scope of work
• Analyse the current market for project-management platforms, including direct and indirect competitors, prevailing SaaS price points, and accepted value metrics.
• Map the product’s core value to logical, tiered plans—monthly and annual—showing which features live at each level and how they encourage account expansion.
• Build an editable financial model (Excel or Google Sheets) projecting MRR, churn, CAC payback, and revenue under multiple adoption scenarios.
• Recommend promotional levers: introductory discounts, contract length incentives, and free-trial parameters that align with typical B2B buying cycles.
• Summarise findings in a concise deck that I can share with internal stakeholders and potential investors.
I will supply user personas, competitive intel already gathered, and all unit-economics data. The finished deliverables must be actionable and ready for immediate implementation. Experience pricing SaaS—especially project-management solutions for businesses—will be highly valued, so please highlight any relevant examples when you respond.
