Project Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Finance Professionals with strong financial modeling expertise and working knowledge of Python to support the evaluation and improvement of next-generation AI systems.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals from Investment Banking, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Valuation, Financial Consulting, Private Equity, or related finance backgrounds who understand how professional analysts build, review, and interpret financial models.

You will help evaluate AI-generated financial analysis tasks, review valuation methodologies, improve financial modeling workflows, and ensure AI systems accurately reflect real-world financial reasoning.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity with flexible working hours and competitive hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities
Review and validate AI-generated financial modeling tasks and analyst workflows
Evaluate financial models for accuracy, logical consistency, and real-world applicability
Assess concepts including:
Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Modeling
Financial Statement Analysis
P&L Analysis
Balance Sheet Evaluation
Cash Flow Modeling
Comparable Company Analysis (Comps)
Enterprise Valuation
WACC Calculations
Forecasting and Scenario Analysis
Review and improve financial evaluation rubrics and scoring methodologies
Identify modeling errors, incorrect assumptions, edge cases, and calculation issues
Edit Markdown documentation and Python scripts when necessary
Provide structured feedback to improve AI-generated financial outputs
Collaborate through GitHub-based workflows and pull request reviews
Document findings, recommendations, and best practices

Required Qualifications

Finance Expertise
Professional experience in one or more of the following:
Investment Banking
Equity Research
Corporate Finance
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Valuation Advisory
Private Equity
Venture Capital
Financial Consulting

Strong understanding of:

DCF Models
Financial Statement Modeling
Company Valuation
Forecasting
Budgeting
Ratio Analysis
Capital Structure Analysis
Business Performance Evaluation
Deep familiarity with US financial terminology, accounting standards, and analyst workflows

Technical Skills

Python proficiency required
Ability to read, review, modify, and debug Python scripts
Experience using GitHub, Git workflows, branches, commits, and pull requests
Comfortable editing Markdown documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

CFA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification
Experience building financial models in Excel and/or Python
Experience reviewing financial training materials or assessment frameworks
Familiarity with AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI evaluation workflows
Prior experience creating benchmarks, rubrics, or technical review systems
Public GitHub profile or portfolio of financial modeling projects
