Debt Purchase Financial Due Diligence
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have located a small, SEC-reporting oil & gas operator whose new debt I am considering acquiring. Before moving forward I need a concise, investor-oriented analysis of their most recent Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and any accompanying narrative—business-plan literature, prospectus, and subsequent supplements.
The work I expect:
• Scrutinise the three core GAAP statements and the accompanying notes from the latest annual and quarterly filings, highlighting liquidity, leverage, covenant compliance, and cash-generation trends.
• Read the company’s descriptive material (operations overview, drilling plans, reserve estimates, management discussion) to gauge operational risk and sustainability of cash flows.
• Benchmark key ratios against comparable US on-shore E&P peers and flag any red-or-green lights.
• Deliver a clear report (PDF) plus supporting Excel sheets for any ratio or scenario modelling you perform.
The SEC filings & prospectus documents are available online at the SEC website or from the company. Bond offering information is available on the company’s website. I may be able to supply additional information from a webinar presentation. Please keep the language investor-friendly and back every conclusion with the numbers that justify it.
I’m looking for an informed opinion on the health of the company.
