Identify Bulk Stock and Mutual Fund Quote Data Sources
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a business researcher with stock and mutual fund investing experience to identify sources of free and low-cost downloadable bulk ticker symbol lists and daily quote data for stocks and mutual funds traded on the world's top exchanges. Specifically, I want to identify bulk price datafeeds (such as eoddata.com) and not sources of individual quotes that are available only on a quote-by-quote lookup basis (such as finance.google.com).
I need to identify sources of free and low-cost downloadable lists of:
(1) company names and ticker symbols,
(2) end-of-day closing quotations, and
(3) daily historical closing quotations
for stocks and mutual funds listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq, Japan Exchange Group, Shanghai SE, Hong Kong Exchanges, Euronext, London SE Group, Shenzhen SE, TMX Group, Saudi SE (Tadawul), BSE India, National Stock Exchange of India, and the Deutsche Börse.
Deliverable to include an Excel workbook, with separate worksheets/tabs for each exchange, that identify for that exchange each of the above three categories, with:
1. URLs of of sources of all companies and mutual funds with their associated ticker symbol on each exchange.;
2. URLs to download, in bulk (not one-by-one) end-of-day closing Open, High, Low, Close and Volume quotes for stocks - and closing offer/NAV quotes for mutual funds.
3. URLS to download historical data for daily, end-of-day, stock and mutual fund prices for publicly-traded companies and mutual funds.
