QuickBooks Migration & Hubdoc Setup

Job ID: 39782477

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m ready to retire my QuickBooks Desktop files and consolidate everything into one clean QuickBooks Online Plus file. The scope is focused but detailed:

• Migrate only what matters—business transactions, tax-related data, Solo 401k trust activity (about 100 historical entries), and my personal rental-property income and expenses.
• Preserve the class-based tracking I rely on for five distinct entities, so reporting in QBO matches the workflows I already use.
USE SAME CHART OF ACCOUNTS STRUCTURE AS JACAS FINANCIALS IN THE DESKTOP VERSION
• Merge the separate Solo 401k trust file into the new master file without duplication or data loss. (from a separate 2014 file)
• Set up Hubdoc from scratch, connect it to QBO Plus, and build out the automation rules so new source documents flow in, are auto-coded to the correct classes, and attach to the transactions.

Acceptance criteria
1. One reconciled QBO Plus file containing the migrated data sets above, with classes accurate for all five entities.
2. Opening balances in QBO tie back to the most recent Desktop balance sheets.
3. Hubdoc connected, bank/credit-card feeds live, and at least three sample documents processed end-to-end to prove the automation works.
4. A short hand-off call or screen share so I can see the setup and ask any follow-ups.

You’ll have full access to the old Desktop files and my Intuit and Hubdoc accounts. If you’ve completed similar Desktop-to-QBO migrations and Hubdoc rollouts, I’d love to hear how you approach data validation and class mapping.
