Freelance Financial Expert / Fundraising Consultant for Steel & Energy Venture
Also the person will get 2% as a commission
We are looking for an experienced Financial Expert, Investment Consultant, or Fundraising Specialist to work with us on a freelance basis to raise funds for an upcoming industrial project in the steel sector.
About the Project
We are planning to establish:
- An iron foundry with an induction furnace.
- A manufacturing plant for an innovative iron-related alternative fuel like charcoal that can partially replace conventional coal in the steel industry.
- The alternative fuel is based on a patented technology developed by our associated professor and technical expert.
The project combines traditional steel manufacturing with sustainable industrial innovation, aiming to reduce fuel costs and environmental impact.
Scope of Work
The selected freelancer will help us:
- Develop a comprehensive financial model.
- Prepare investor-ready financial projections.
- Create or refine the business plan and investment memorandum.
- Identify suitable funding sources, including venture capital, private investors, strategic investors, banks, government schemes, family offices, and institutional funding.
- Prepare documentation required for fundraising.
- Introduce qualified investors and assist during investment discussions.
- Support negotiations and due diligence until funding is secured.
Preferred Experience
- Experience raising funds for manufacturing, steel, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of project finance and financial modelling.
- Existing investor network is highly preferred.
- Experience in debt funding, equity funding, or blended finance.
- Knowledge of government incentives and industrial funding schemes is a plus.
Engagement
- Freelance / Contract basis.
- Remote work with online meetings.
- Long-term engagement depending on project progress.
- Compensation is negotiable and may include a fixed fee, milestone-based payments, success fee, or a combination of these.
