AI for Financial Document Analysis and Annotation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a financial analysis and AI specialist to develop a system that can analyze various financial documents and then annotate them with useful insights and questions, like a company CFO would do.
Key Responsibilities:
- The AI will be analyzing documents such as income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, earnings call transcripts and 10-k reports.
- The output will be an editable document that has the financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, or cash flow statement) with callout annotation (or line by line commentary) that gives reference-able rationale to the line items.
-The AI must have near zero hallucinations and be able to reference specific information across documents, such as explaining the debt line of a balance sheet using information obtained in the 10-K filing (see Google’s NotebookLM for exact example of how this should look for references and how clicking on the reference should go to source)
-Additional financial analysis without reference is also desired, such as (low gross margin on the income statement suggests XYZ, with annotation of the document highlighting this line) and highlighting questions where information is unknown or needed also required.
-output should be visually pleasing
-Tool must be easily deployable with clear instructions for non-programmer and operate in the cloud
-A recommendation with justification based on example outputs for which underlying LLM model was chosen is also required.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning
- Experience in financial analysis and document review
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or R
- strong working knowledge and understanding of financial terms and concepts
