3,000-Word Stock Exchange Report
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a well-researched, 3,000-word (±10 %) report that examines market infrastructure in the financial sector, with a precise focus on stock exchanges. Clarity, accuracy, and a strong academic tone are critical, because writing quality forms a significant part of the final assessment.
You’ll receive two helpful resources from me straight away:
• a set of top-tier sample papers that illustrate best practice, and
• a template that lays out the preferred structure.
Using those as guides, the finished document should:
• set out a concise research agenda that frames the core question you intend to answer,
• synthesise and reference the most relevant literature on stock-exchange infrastructure (market microstructure, trading technology, regulation, liquidity, price discovery, etc.),
• outline the methods you will use—quantitative, qualitative, or mixed (empirical data analysis, event study, econometric modelling, interviews, archival research—whatever fits your angle),
• present the findings in a logical, evidence-based manner, and
• end with a balanced critical evaluation that discusses strengths, limitations, and possible directions for future work.
I welcome charts, tables, or appendices if they sharpen the analysis, and I’m happy for you to code in Python, R, or Stata should you need to crunch data. Please return the piece in Word format, with citations in the style of your choice (just be consistent).
If you have solid experience investigating stock exchanges—whether through academic study, professional analysis, or hands-on market data work—this assignment should feel familiar. Send through a short note outlining your approach and a timeframe you know you can hit.
