Startup Financial Audit Engagement

I’m looking for a qualified external auditor to carry out a full financial audit for my early-stage company. The work focuses on our Balance Sheet, Income Statement and the Annual Returns we lodge with the authorities. We follow local standards rather than GAAP or IFRS, so familiarity with the relevant national auditing and reporting rules is essential.

The company has been operating for just under two years, with straightforward revenue streams and cloud-based bookkeeping (Xero). All trial balances, supporting documents and bank statements are already organised in a shared folder and can be made available immediately.

What I need from you
• An independent audit conducted in accordance with local statutory requirements
• Signed audit report covering FY2023
• Management letter outlining any control weaknesses and practical recommendations
• Final deliverables in PDF and editable Word formats, plus working papers if required by regulators

Timeline: I’d like the fieldwork wrapped up within three weeks of project start, with the final report delivered one week later.
