Southeast Asian Finance Admin Assistant
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I run a growing cross-border business and need a reliable partner from South-East Asia who can stay with me for the long haul. Your core duties will revolve around three areas: processing daily financial transactions, keeping our books accurate and up-to-date, and handling routine communication with banks, suppliers, and internal team members.
You should already feel comfortable handling international transfers and multi-currency reconciliations; I’m looking for someone at an intermediate level, able to work without micro-supervision yet still open to learning our internal flow. Most of our record-keeping lives in Microsoft Excel, so strong spreadsheet skills—pivot tables, lookups, error-proof formulas—are a must. If you have experience migrating those sheets into cloud systems later on, that’s a bonus but not essential right now.
Because this is a remote, long-term role built on trust, consistency matters more than speed. I will start by giving you a clear procedure for approving payments and logging them. Once you’re comfortable, we’ll expand into month-end closing, light reporting, and eventually liaison work with auditors or tax agents.
Deliverables I expect each month:
• Fully reconciled transaction log with supporting documents
• Updated Excel ledger matching bank statements to the cent
• Brief summary report highlighting cash-flow movements and any issues that need my attention
I answer quickly and will always provide context when a new process pops up. If you value transparent communication, accuracy, and a steady partnership, I’d love to review your background and discuss next steps.
