QuickBooks Bi-Weekly Review & Entries
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run a small company that supplies manpower services and a handful of related items. All of our transactions live in QuickBooks, and while my in-house accountant handles day-to-day input, I want a fresh mid-level set of eyes to make sure everything is truly accurate and up to date.
Here’s the flow I’m aiming for: you start with a one-time sweep of our current books, flagging and fixing any mis-codings, missed receipts or reconciliation gaps. After that, you drop in every two weeks to post the latest invoices, bills and payroll journals, reconcile the bank and card feeds, and leave a short summary so I can see that nothing slipped through the cracks.
Deliverables I’ll rely on
• Initial audit of existing QuickBooks file with a clear list of corrections
• Bi-weekly entry of all new transactions and required journal postings
• Bank and credit-card reconciliations completed by the close of each cycle
• Brief bi-weekly health report noting variances, errors caught and recommendations
QuickBooks proficiency, solid understanding of standard bookkeeping principles and a sharp eye for inconsistencies are a must. If you enjoy catching the little things others miss and can commit to a consistent bi-weekly cadence, let’s talk.
