QuickBooks Online Reconciliation Support
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Using QuickBooks Online, last year’s activity in 3–5 separate bank accounts now needs to be brought to a clean, fully reconciled state. All transactions are already in the system; what remains is to match them against the original statements, clear every discrepancy, and leave a transparent audit trail my in-house accounting team can review.
The job goes beyond ticking off transactions. While you reconcile, I also need a workable schedule of tax-deductible items so we can hand a tidy file to our CPA. That means properly coding each expense, flagging anything that looks out of place, and compiling a brief note or backup link when documentation is missing.
Deliverables
• Reconciled QuickBooks Online file for the entire last fiscal year, covering all 3–5 bank accounts
• Reconciliation and discrepancy reports exported from QBO (PDF)
• Excel or Google Sheets schedule of tax-deductible transactions, cross-referenced to account names and dates
• Journal entry log for any adjustments you make, with explanations we can trace later
Acceptance criteria
Balances in QuickBooks must match the year-end bank statements to the cent, every uncleared item must be identified with a reason, and the tax-deduction schedule must sum correctly against the P&L.
You will be working directly in our live QuickBooks Online environment and can touch base with my internal team whenever questions arise. Once the reconciliation and schedules pass review, the project is done.
