QuickBooks Cleanup & Ongoing Bookkeeping

I run my books in QuickBooks but, after a busy stretch, things are no longer tidy. A handful of accounts—no more than two—carry months of uncategorized transactions, bank-feed reconciliation errors, and an outdated chart of accounts that no longer reflects how the business operates.

Here is what I need done:
• Redesign the chart of accounts so it mirrors our current revenue streams and expense categories, then map every historical transaction to the new layout.
• Reconcile each account back to the latest bank and credit-card statements, correcting any discrepancies you find along the way.
• Clear every “uncategorized” entry and ensure the books balance to the penny.
• Set up an efficient workflow for weekly bookkeeping going forward—including bank-feed review, transaction coding, and a brief summary report I can read at a glance inside QuickBooks.

Acceptance criteria
• All historical transactions show proper categories with zero items in “uncategorized.”
• Bank and credit-card registers match statement balances through the most recent month.
• The new chart of accounts is live in QuickBooks and exported as a PDF reference.
• First weekly close is completed without open issues.
