Profit-Focused Business Audit Lead

I’m ready to launch a company-wide audit that zeroes in on profitability while still taking a close look at inventory, operations, and customer experience. Financial audits are my top priority, and I already have detailed documentation—including P&L statements, expense breakdowns, and annual net-revenue reports—waiting for your review.
Your role will be to act as the lead consultant. You’ll create the audit framework, brief a two-person internal team, coordinate two subject-matter experts, and turn the raw data they collect into a clear, decision-ready report. I expect incisive analysis of profit and loss, major expense categories, and yearly revenue trends, along with practical recommendations for inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, and customer retention.
Deliverables
• Audit plan and orientation materials for the staff and SMEs
• Consolidated data sets and working papers (Excel, Power BI or similar)
• Comprehensive audit report outlining current profitability and strategic next steps
