Ghana SME Budget Template

I need a clean, easy-to-use budgeting workbook in Excel that a typical small business in Ghana can open and start using immediately. The file should guide the owner through four core areas—income, expenses, savings and cash-flow—using built-in formulas and clear, plain-language prompts.

Income
• The rows must be fully customisable so users can rename or add revenue streams without breaking the totals.

Expenses
• Marketing expenses have to appear as their own section by default; other expense blocks can remain blank shells the user fills in.

Savings & Cash-flow
• Automatically pull net figures into a concise cash-flow summary, highlighting monthly surplus or shortfall and showing cumulative cash position.

Essentials to include
• Ghanaian cedi (GHS) formatting throughout.
• A “How-to” sheet that explains, in simple steps, where to type data, how to add new rows, and how the summary works.
• Friendly colour coding or conditional formatting that flags negative balances.
• No external macros—keep everything in native Excel formulas so the file opens smoothly on any recent version of Microsoft 365 or Excel 2016+.
