Fractional FP&A Analyst for Telemedicine / DTC Brand (SQL + LTV/CAC Modeling)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Fractional FP&A Analyst for Telemedicine / DTC Brand (SQL + LTV/CAC Modeling)
Project Overview
We're a fast-moving, performance-marketing-driven telemedicine company looking for an experienced FP&A analyst to take ownership of our financial visibility on a contract basis. This is a hands-on engagement: you'll work directly in our data, build the reporting and models we run the business on, and help us understand our unit economics. We're open to an ongoing part-time arrangement or a defined-scope project to start, with the potential to extend based on fit.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain our company P&L, including daily revenue, COGS, and expense tracking
- Write SQL queries against our Bask database to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports (there's no native export, so SQL fluency is essential)
- Reconcile expenses inside and outside Bask for complete financial visibility
- Monitor ad performance across channels — CAC, ROAS, and spend efficiency
- Build and maintain LTV models segmented by acquisition channel and cohort
- Forecast revenue, contribution margin, and cash flow on a rolling basis
- Build leadership dashboards covering KPIs, cohort views, and channel performance
- Run pricing analysis, promo/discount ROI, and vendor/SaaS spend reviews
- Deliver budget vs. actuals reporting with variance commentary
- Run scenario modeling for new products, markets, and pricing changes
- Monitor cash flow and runway, and support month-end close alongside our accounting team
- Partner with marketing, ops, and clinical teams on ad-hoc deep dives, including churn and retention analysis
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in FP&A, finance, or analytics, ideally with DTC, telehealth, or subscription companies
- Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing complex queries from scratch
- Deep experience with LTV/CAC modeling and ad performance analysis
- Able to get into the weeds with daily data while keeping the strategic picture in view
- Excel/Sheets fluency; BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase) a plus
- Reliable, self-directed, and responsive — you can own this area with minimal hand-holding
Engagement Details
- Estimated [10–20] hours/week to start (adjust as needed)
- Remote, with overlap during [your time zone] business hours preferred
- Ongoing potential for the right person
To Apply, Please Answer These Three Questions:
- Share your resume and work history
- Do you have experience running finance for subscription-based ecommerce or DTC brands? If so, please describe.
- Why do you think you'd be a strong fit for this role, and how - would you add value to our company?
- What tools do you use day to day to build out and manage your work?
