Financial Excel Pivot Table Reporting

I need help turning a locally-stored Excel workbook into a clean, reusable pivot-table report. All of the raw financial data is already in the spreadsheet; what’s missing is a well-structured pivot table that lets me slice the numbers quickly for monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date reporting.

Here is what I’m after:
• Build a pivot table (or a small set of related tables) directly from the existing sheets—no external connections.
• Organise the fields so common financial views—totals, variance, and category breakdowns—are only a click away.
• Add filters or slicers where they make sense to make the report flexible for non-technical users.
• Keep the file lightweight and easy to refresh when I paste in the next data dump.
