Divorce Forensic Accounting Assistance

Job ID: 40553594

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I am in the middle of a complicated divorce and need an experienced forensic accountant to step in quickly. The immediate priority is a thorough financial document review, but the scope is broader: hidden assets, tax forgery, multiple trusts, potential dissipation of marital funds, and subpoena-related analysis are all on the table.

Please review the attachment.

• Extract, organise, and explain the key facts buried in bank statements, and any trust paperwork I provide.
• Trace and quantify any hidden assets or suspicious transfers that point to dissipation.
• Draft or guide the drafting of subpoenas, interrogatories, and any other discovery requests that will help lock down missing information.
• Summarise findings in plain English reports that can be filed in court, including tables, source citations, and a defensible valuation or loss estimate where relevant.

Acceptance criteria
1. A written strategy outline delivered first so we agree on the work plan.
2. A concise weekly update (PDF) listing documents received, work completed, red-flag items found, and next steps.
3. Final forensic report(s) that meet evidentiary standards and can be sworn to if deposition or testimony is required.

Communication constraints
Because I am being cyber-stalked by my estranged spouse, my only safe internet access is at the public library. The building will be closed from Friday through Monday this week; expect my replies on Monday. Please be comfortable working asynchronously and encrypting any sensitive files you send.

If you have courtroom experience and can translate complex numbers into clear, persuasive narratives, I would like to start as soon as we confirm scope.

Thank you and please note I won't be able to reply until Monday.
