Daily Excel Ledger Maintenance

Every day I handle financial data for roughly 150 people and need that information captured quickly, accurately and in one place. The work per person is light—usually no more than 2-5 minutes—but it must be done without fail each day.

Here is what I need from you:

• Use Microsoft Excel only.
• Follow the sample file I will share to refine the final template.
• For every individual, enter their daily Income and Expenses along with all Transactions and Balances so the sheet always shows an up-to-date position.

I usually upload the raw figures by the end of my business day; your update should come back the same day so I can review first thing the next morning. Consistency, accuracy and respect for the structure of the sample sheet are the measures I will be checking against each day.
