• Budget calculator – verify data accuracy by cross-checking every input-to-output calculation, assess the user interface for clarity and error handling, and flag any performance issues that slow calculation speed.
• Retirement planner – validate data accuracy, stress-test the projection models across a wide range of life-expectancy, tax and inflation assumptions, and provide usability feedback on every screen and chart.
• Investment tracker – confirm that position-level performance, fees and cumulative returns are all computed correctly and displayed in a way that an end user instantly understands.
For each testing cycle I will provide release notes and change logs; you will return:
1. A concise test plan outlining scenarios you intend to run.
2. A reproducible bug report (steps, expected vs. actual, screenshots, raw figures).
3. A sign-off sheet confirming all critical paths pass once fixes are deployed.
