Build & Maintain a GRHIX (Goehring & Rozencwajg) Copy Portfolio Tracker
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
want to replicate and maintain a copy of the Goehring & Rozencwajg Resources Fund (GRHIX) in my brokerage account.
The goal is to mirror the fund’s main holdings, themes, and weightings (energy, uranium, fertilizer, natural resources), and rebalance quarterly as new filings are released.
Responsibilities
• Retrieve and clean GRHIX holdings data from reliable public sources (13F filings, Whalewisdom, or StockAnalysis.com).
• Build a working Google Sheets or Excel dashboard that automatically tracks:
• Current GRHIX holdings and weights
• Changes quarter to quarter
• Portfolio performance vs GRHIX
• Suggested rebalancing trades (buy/sell list)
• Provide updates or alerts each quarter when the fund updates its holdings.
• (Optional) Build a lightweight Python script or API-based tracker to automate future updates.
Deliverables
• A working spreadsheet or dashboard that shows:
• Stock tickers, sectors, and weights
• Comparison vs my current holdings
• Portfolio total return tracking
• A simple instruction sheet for rebalancing every quarter.
Ideal Freelancer
• Background in finance, data analysis, or portfolio management
• Experience with 13F filings, mutual fund holdings, or ETF replication
• Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets / Python / APIs
• (Bonus) Familiar with natural resource or energy stocks like RRC, CCJ, NTR, SDRL, etc.
• Attention to detail and clear communication
