Australian Auditor Document Misconduct Review
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need an Australian-registered auditor or CPA to cast an experienced eye over a small bundle of financial statements and the accompanying external audit reports for my public company limited by shares. I suspect that something is off—potential fraud, compliance breaches or plain inaccuracies—but I want a qualified, independent opinion before I escalate.
Scope
• Review the latest sets of financial statements and the relevant audit reports.
• Identify any indicators of fraud, breaches of Australian accounting or ASIC compliance requirements, and material mis-statements.
• Cite the specific AASB standards, Corporations Act sections or audit guidelines that apply.
Deliverable
A concise written report (2-4 pages is fine) outlining:
1. Observed irregularities, grouped by Fraud, Compliance Violation and Inaccuracy.
2. The evidence or calculation that led you to each finding.
3. Recommended next steps, including whether a full forensic audit is advisable.
Acceptance criteria
• Clear, professional language suitable for board circulation.
• References to the exact page or figure in the supplied documents for every finding.
• Must be prepared and signed by a practitioner currently licensed in Australia.
I will provide the PDFs as soon as we start; the volume is modest, so I’m hoping for a turnaround inside a week if possible. Let me know your credentials, similar work you’ve done, and your estimated timeline.
