Audit Investor Translations English > Japanese
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
I have a set of English investor-relations PPT slides that have already been translated into Japanese. We need to check accuracy of the translations and find ways to improve (dictionary, rules) Therefore, I want to confirm three things: 1) factual accuracy against the source text, 2) flawless grammar and syntax, and 3) precise handling of financial terminology. Cultural flair is welcome but secondary; what matters most is that numbers, terms, and nuance read perfectly for a professional investment audience.
Scope of work
You will read the Japanese version side-by-side with the English original, highlight every mistranslation or awkward construction, and propose concise corrections. No need to rewrite the full text from scratch—just clear, actionable annotations that let my team patch the file confidently.
Deliverables
• A marked-up Word file with tracked changes or inline comments for each issue
• A brief summary sheet rating overall quality and noting recurring problems (e.g., misused IR jargon, tense shifts, missing figures)
• Confirmation that all financial terms align with common Japanese IR usage
Acceptance criteria
All critical inaccuracies must be flagged; every suggestion should be backed by a short explanation in English.
I have 2 slide decks, each around 30 pages. If you have proven experience with Japanese IR communications or equity research materials, your insight will be especially valued.
