Corporate Finance Expert Needed for Analysis
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
• Assume you are to make a presentation to the Board of the company about the gaps in and ways to improve performance of your allotted company.
• The comparison is to be done with at least two peers on both financial metrics and operational metrics.
Objectives: 1. Present a brief overview of the company, its business and two peers you will be benchmarking its performance against.
2. Undertake a thorough financial analysis of the company using all tools you have learnt in class (ratios, common size, accounting policies, capital structure analysis, etc).
3. Compare the key performance/financial metrics with at least 2 peers of the company allotted. Peers need to be from the same industry/line of business.
4. You are required to present the analysis and peer comparison for last 5 years. Latest year for analysis needs to be FY24. Do not limit yourself to using annual data only as quarterly data can also provide interesting insights.
5. You have to incorporate the DuPont analysis as one of the financial metrics in the comparison.
Imp Note: Format – PPT or PDF + Excel file with Data analysis Use of charts and pictorial ways to explain concepts, etc is encouraged. All table/charts should include the sources for the information. Kindly use reputed sources of information. DO NOT USE MONEYCONTROL (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters, government websites, information from companies). Annual reports form the best source of data over and above the ones below (e.g. notes to accounts are not captured by any data sources).
