YouTube Vlog Video Editing

I create long-form YouTube vlogs and need my raw footage shaped into a 8-9 minute episode. The first sixty seconds have to feel punchy and hook-laden, quick cuts, energetic pacing, and anything else that drives curiosity. After that opening burst, the edit should settle into a smooth narrative flow that lets the story breathe without dragging. Raw footage 12mins

What I definitely want in every cut: background music that matches the tone of each segment and transitions seamlessly between scenes. Text overlays or extra sound effects aren’t a priority right now, but if you feel a subtle touch will strengthen the story I’m open to suggestions.

You’ll receive multi-camera footage, B-roll, and any reference tracks in a shared drive. I’m on windows and usually review in 1080p, so an H.264 export plus the original Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve project file keeps things simple for revisions.

Deliverables
