Prep & Grade Raw Video Footage
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
I process a lot of different types of short projects. Before I dive into the creative edit, I need the material organized inside Final Cut Pro: every take trimmed to its usable moments, colour-graded with a true to life finish, and returned to me as a clean project ready for final assembly.
You’ll open the original camera files in FCP, add my LUT, balance exposure and white balance so skin tones stay accurate, match shots for consistency — needs to feel natural yet polished. Once grading is complete, please cut out dead space, mis-takes, and handles, leaving only selects on the timeline. All media should remain in its original resolution and codec; I’ll handle any creative reframing or down-converts later.
Deliverables
• A Final Cut Pro library (or XML) containing: graded clips, trimmed timelines of selects, and any custom LUTs you create
• A short ProRes reference export so I can review colour and shot order quickly
