Final Cut DJ Set Edit
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’ve recorded a 90-minute DJ set on two cameras and now need it brought together in Final Cut Pro X. The angles are already logged, synced and audio is embedded - though I'll send audio seperately incase it didnt go in the project. what I’m looking for is a clean multicam edit that sticks to straight cuts only—no dissolves or effects.
Its just the femael DJ set - 56mins to about 2hr20
You’ll receive:
• A final cut project and a audio file.
Your job is to switch between angles using straight cuts where they look most natural, looking to avoid any discrepancies like out of focus of camera jolts As a rule you will cut between shots roughly every 10 second, just so it doesnt feel like youre lingering too long on one shot. If one shot is blurred - cut to another. If a shot shakes, go back and cut to the other. Try to keep the DJ centred. No text overlays, graphics, or extra effects are required—just solid, music-driven editing in FCP X.
If you’re comfortable working quickly in Final Cut’s multicam workflow I’d love to send over the media so you can start right away.
