Narrative Short Documentary Production
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am developing a narrative-driven documentary that will run under 10 to 12 minutes and need an experienced filmmaker to take it from raw idea to polished final cut. The project calls for a storyteller who can shape real-world material into a clear three-act arc, manage on-location shoots, interview or voice-over capture as required, and then weave the footage together with tight editing, colour grading and balanced sound.
You will collaborate with me on pre-production planning, handle principal photography with a small crew or solo setup, and oversee post-production in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Motion graphics and licence-cleared music selection will also be part of the workflow so the piece is festival-ready.
Deliverables:
• Final master video (4K and 1080p)
• Trailer/teaser under 60 seconds
• Editable project files and raw footage archive
I’m looking to start as soon as we lock the outline, and I anticipate a total timeline of eight to ten weeks, including feedback rounds. If you have a portfolio that demonstrates strong narrative structure in documentary work, let’s discuss how you would approach this story and schedule.
