Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
We've started calling short documentary films from all over the word in 2014.
After 6 years, we've just extended the scope of the geography to all (medium/large, not only MEGA) cities.
We, now, get enough impactful shorts made by talented filmmakers to build a mini-series with the most inspiring ones, that will be screened on international streaming platforms by 2022.
Our main goal is to inspire through short documentary films, other people, associations, businesses, and governments to set in motion new initiatives that contribute and lead towards a society that is more respectful of the environment, and offering greater solidarity among citizens.

For the first time, we decided to choose one of the leading freelancer platforms (Upwork) to make a different call for entries, we will subsidize 10 short films on proposal.
In addition to the $250 token given to make those short films, they will be eligible for 11500€ of prizes + being part of the mini-series to get a complementary revenue estimated at $500.
On www.megacities-shortdocs.org website you can watch some examples of the videos we are looking for.
Short films should highlight positive initiatives & unacceptable situations.
Videos should be 4 minute long maximum and English subtitled, they have to be filmed in large cities of the world and showcase solutions or actions that tackle urban challenges (we are aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of UN).
Please come back to us soon, as those films need to be finished no later than October 31 st. But through upwork only, don't register on our website, as this Entry is a parallel one.
