Hello,
My name is Puppy Town. I’m an artist, singer, and performer at the very beginning of my journey in music.
My sound lives somewhere between the emotional honesty of Juice WRLD, the vulnerability of Amy Winehouse, and the pain and atmosphere found in bands like Linkin Park. The music is emotional, personal, and comes from experiences of isolation, loss, love, and survival.
For most of my life, I felt like an outsider. Eventually I found someone who stood beside me through everything, and together we’ve decided that we don’t just want to make music — we want to document the journey of trying to build a life through art.
We’re looking for a cameraman who would be comfortable becoming part of that journey.
This isn’t about creating a polished image or pretending life is perfect. It’s about capturing reality as it happens. Studio sessions. Car rides. Conversations after midnight. Trips to stores. Small victories. Bad days. The moments that usually never make it into music documentaries.
The vision is simple:
A young artist walks into the studio full of hope and purpose. He creates something beautiful. Then he walks back out into the world and faces all the confusion, judgment, loneliness, and pressure that so many artists and young people experience every day.
The contrast between those two worlds is the story.
This project is for musicians, artists, outsiders, and anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood or underestimated. It’s for people trying to become something bigger than the environment around them.
We want young people to see the reality:
People won’t always understand your art.
People won’t always support your dreams.
Sometimes the answer isn’t to seek approval — it’s to keep building, keep learning, and keep creating until your work speaks for itself.
The message is authenticity.
Be yourself.
Work on yourself.
Create relentlessly.
Become the person your younger self needed to see.
We imagine footage ranging from freestyle sessions at parks, recording sessions in studios, drives across town with loud music playing, and ordinary moments that become meaningful because they’re real. The goal is to create something raw enough that people watching online feel like they’re experiencing the journey alongside us.
We’re looking for someone comfortable around music being played loudly, long drives, spontaneous ideas, and an environment that values honesty over perfection. If you are comfortable around smoking environments, that would also be appreciated, although professionalism and mutual respect come first.
Scheduling can be flexible, and we’re happy to work around your availability.
The dream is to create a time capsule — something we can look back on years from now and remember exactly what it felt like to be at the beginning.
Recently I walked into a store and bought an Amy Winehouse record. It wasn’t a huge moment to anyone else, but to me it meant something. It was another reminder to keep believing in the work and keep moving forward even when nobody around you understands where you’re headed.
Whether this journey stays small or grows into something much bigger, the story deserves to be told honestly.
