Silent Comedy Video Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a batch of raw clips for a short, dialogue-free comedy sketch and I need an editor who can shape them into a smooth, laugh-driven final cut. The footage is already logged and synced; what’s missing is the pacing, visual flair, and classic silent-film charm that will make the gags land.
Here’s the vision. The final video should feel like a true silent comedy: crisp physical humour, tight timing, and expressive moments enhanced by well-placed music, sound effects, or intertitle cards—whichever combination you think best sells each joke. I’m open on runtime; once the edits breathe properly the piece might sit anywhere under ten minutes, so I’d rather let the flow decide than force a length.
You’ll have creative freedom on look and feel. If you think a black-and-white grade or a colourful modern twist serves the material better, pitch it and show me a short sample cut. Likewise, any ideas for vintage film grain, speed-ramp slapstick, or title card typography are welcome. I’m happy to collaborate on refining these choices once I see your initial pass.
Deliverables I need from you:
• A polished master file in 1080p or 4K (matching source resolution)
• A project file from Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve with all media linked
• A separate audio‐only stem if you add music or SFX
• One short social-media teaser (≤30 s) built from the final cut
Please include links to comparable comedy edits you’ve done, mention the software version you’ll be working in, and let me know your estimated turnaround time for a first draft. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right editor—looking forward to seeing how you can make the laughs pop.
