Cinematic Short Film Editing
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
Project Description – Video Editing Required
I am a Creative Digital Media Production student working on three separate units, each requiring professional video editing using techniques appropriate to the genre and format. I am looking for an editor who understands film, TV, and music video conventions and can apply them accurately.
Unit 20 – Music Video
This project is a music video edited to the song “God’s Plan” by Drake (song only, not the original music video). The edit should include music video techniques such as rhythm-based cutting, pacing, visual storytelling, and effects that match the tone and message of the song.
Genre: Music Video / Contemporary Urban
I will specifically tell the editor what they need to do and what techniques they should use for this project.
Unit 21 – TV Drama (Episode 1)
This project is the first episode of a TV series, edited as a UK crime drama. The edit should use TV drama techniques such as continuity editing, shot/reverse shot, cross-cutting, pacing for suspense, and narrative clarity suitable for an episodic format.
Genre: Crime Drama
I will specifically tell the editor what they need to do and what techniques they should use for this project.
Unit 10 – Short Film (Movie)
This project is a short film/movie, edited as a psychological thriller. The edit should focus on tension, atmosphere, and storytelling through techniques such as pacing, suspense, time manipulation, and non-continuity editing where appropriate.
Genre: Psychological Thriller
I will specifically tell the editor what they need to do and what techniques they should use for this project.
