Christmas Tree

I have two scans (JPEG files) that I need converted into SVG files. I plan to cut out the designs using a laser cutter. I have had problems in the past where during the conversion, the SGV files are marking both sides of the outline .. meaning, the laser is cutting the design twice (once on either side of the felt marker outline). I just need a single cut .. one linear outline cut of the designs .. please
