Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) — Servu Smart Home Services Platform (Saudi Arabia)

( Please refer to the attached file for a clear explanation. )

About Servu

Servu is a next-generation smart home services platform built specifically for the Saudi market.

Servu is NOT a marketplace.
It is a managed service operating system that simplifies home maintenance through guided decisions, operational intelligence, and trust-driven execution.

The product architecture and operational logic are already completed.
Your role is not to invent the product, but to translate a defined system into a scalable, intuitive, developer-ready UX.

Think of Servu as:
A smart home assistant that manages services — not a listing app.

Core Philosophy

Servu is built on:

• Decision simplification
• Trust before transaction
• Guided experience (not browsing)
• Operational clarity over visual complexity
• Long-term scalability without redesign

This is NOT:

• Uber clone
• Marketplace directory
• Service listing platform

Platforms to Design (CRITICAL)

Servu contains FIVE distinct portals, each with different verification, workflows, and UX logic.

Designer must design ALL FIVE:

1 Customer App (Mobile)

Request services using a problem-first flow.

Includes:
• Registration & onboarding
• Address & payment setup
• Service request
• Live tracking
• Rating & history
• Notifications & confirmations

2 Technician App (Mobile)

For plumbers, electricians, specialists.

Includes:
• Identity & license verification
• Availability setup
• Job acceptance/rejection
• Navigation & status updates
• Proof upload
• Earnings & history

3 Water Driver App (Mobile)

Delivery-focused workflow.

Includes:
• Driver & vehicle verification
• Delivery acceptance
• Navigation
• Delivery confirmation
• Payment tracking

4 Business Portal (Mobile/Web)

For companies & institutions.

Includes:
• Company onboarding
• Multi-location management
• Team permissions
• Bulk & recurring services
• Billing & invoices
• Analytics overview

5 Admin Platform (Web — Mandatory)

Servu operational control center.

Includes:
• User verification
• Provider approvals
• Disputes & overrides
• Pricing configuration
• Service area control
• Monitoring & analytics
• Support management

Must be designed as Web Dashboard, not mobile.

Scope of Work

Designer will deliver full UX/UI including:

A. UX Translation

Convert architecture into:
• End-to-end journeys
• Edge cases
• Failure & recovery flows

B. Complete UX Design

All five portals (mobile + web).

C. Edge Case Design (Critical)

Design flows for:
• No-show providers
• Cancellations
• Payment failure
• Disputes
• Delays & reassignment
• Access issues
• Partial completion

D. Smart Assistant Experience

UX must feel guided, intelligent, reassuring.

E. Trust System

Verification badges, guarantees, transparency, status clarity.

F. Arabic UX (Saudi Context)

Tone, reassurance language, culturally appropriate messaging.

G. Scalability

Future services must be added without redesign.

H. Notifications Design

Push / SMS / email logic, urgency levels, preference control.

I. Performance-Aware UX

Fast flows, minimal steps, outdoor usage readiness, low-network scenarios.

J. Security UX Patterns

Secure login, consent flows, payment trust indicators, privacy access points.

Testing & Validation

Designer must conduct:

• Lightweight user research
• Usability testing
• Accessibility considerations (WCAG-inspired)
• 3 review cycles:
1. Wireframes
2. High fidelity
3. Final refinement

Deliverables

• User flows (all portals)
• Service journeys + edge cases
• Wireframes & high-fidelity UI
• Design system (components & tokens)
• Admin dashboard UX
• Developer-ready Figma handoff
• Interaction & state documentation
• 2 weeks post-delivery support

Constraints (Non-Negotiable)

Designer must:

- Follow existing architecture
- Not redesign logic independently
- Prioritize clarity over decoration
- Reduce cognitive load
- Design for operations efficiency
- Respect Saudi UX context

Not This Role

• Branding only
• Concept art
• Marketplace cloning
• Visual-only design

Ideal Candidate

• 3–5+ years product design
• Experience with complex platforms
• Dashboard & workflow design experience
• Systems thinker
• Strong developer handoff skills

Timeline

10 weeks total:

• Weeks 1–4: flows & wireframes
• Weeks 4–6: high-fidelity design
• Weeks 6–8: design system
• Weeks 8–10: documentation & handoff

Weekly reviews required.

Application Requirements

Include:
1. Portfolio (complex systems preferred)
2. Example full product journey
3. Short answer: how you design for decision simplicity
4. Confirmation you can design all five portals

Vision

Servu aims to evolve into a Home Operating System managing services, maintenance, and home intelligence.

We seek a designer interested in building a long-term product — not just screens.
