UX / PRODUCT IMPLEMENTER - FUNCTIONAL UI FREEZE (FIGMA)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
PROJECT OVERVIEW
We are building a musical tools app with a solid technical foundation already in place.
All core decisions are already defined:
- UX Logic Maps
- TypeScript Engine APIs -
Locked product & technical decisions
- Global product documents This task is NOT about designing UX.
This task is about freezing functional behavior before native audio integration.
GOAL OF THE JOB
Produce a low-fidelity Figma file representing the functional UI Freeze of the app.
The goal is to translate existing decisions into wireframes that lock:
- interactions - states - control flow
No new UX decisions may be introduced.
SCOPE OF WORK
You will:
- Read and understand UX Logic Maps
- Read and respect existing Engine API documentation (TypeScript)
- Read and respect Locked Decisions
- Verify completeness (states, actions, transitions)
- Flag ambiguities (do not resolve them autonomously)
- Translate logic into functional wireframes in Figma
- Add clear functional annotations for developers
You will NOT:
- Invent or redesign UX
- Add features or interactions
- Request new APIs
- Work on branding, colors, fonts, or animations
- "Improve" the product concept
DELIVERABLE — FIGMA
One single Figma file containing:
- One section per tool (8 tools): 1–2 screens max per tool
- UI sections: navigation, entry points, state-dependent behaviour, interaction flow
- NON visible engines: annotation, interaction notes, APA mappings where relevant
- Low-fidelity, grayscale wireframes -
- Functional annotations describing:
• states (idle, loading, playing, paused, finished)
• allowed actions per state • transitions and edge cases
• mapping to existing APIs where relevant
IMPORTANT: This is NOT a design tasks.
Deliverables are functional UI wireframes only
If it looks ugly, it is correct.
TIME & BUDGET
Scope: small and well-defined Expected effort: 1–2 days
Budget: 400$ fixed
Clarity and precision are valued over speed.
IDEAL PROFILE
We are looking for a Product / UX Implementer, not a visual designer.
You are a good fit if you:
- Are comfortable reading technical documents
- Understand states, flows, and edge cases
- Can translate logic into UI structure
- Think in systems, not aesthetics
Typical backgrounds:
- UX designer with strong technical mindset
- Product designer (early-stage / systems-oriented)
- Frontend developer with UX sensibility
Not a fit if you are: - UI artist - Motion designer - Brand designer
NON-NEGOTIABLES
- Existing APIs are locked
- Existing decisions are locked
- No scope expansion
- No creative reinterpretation
