Luxury Jewellery Ecommerce Figma Design
Budget: $4,000 – $9,000 USD
An established international marketplace specialising in vintage, antique and rare jewellery is seeking an exceptional senior freelance designer for a focused digital redesign with support for social media channels.
The brand identity, logo and core colour palette already exist. This is not a rebranding project. The priority is to create a more distinctive, luxurious and commercially effective experience across the website, social media, newsletter and email.
The current website lacks visual impact and does not adequately communicate the quality, authority or storytelling behind the jewelry. The successful designer will understand that luxury ecommerce must combine beauty, trust, education and conversion.

All designs should be created in Figma, designed mobile first, with supporting responsive desktop:

The homepage, navigation, product listing page and product detail page are the immediate commercial priorities. These must be delivered first so development can begin while the remaining screens are completed.
The product detail page is especially important. Vintage jewellery buyers often require reassurance and education before purchasing. Information such as provenance, condition, gemstones, carat weight, authentication and sizing must be made understandable without overwhelming the page.
Photography is supplied by individual dealers and can be inconsistent. The design must accommodate varying image quality while presenting the collection cohesively and luxuriously. Experience using or art-directing AI-generated lifestyle imagery would be valuable as we often have product shots but not the lifestyle/model shot or video.

A strong portfolio of luxury, jewellery, fashion, art or high-value ecommerce work
Advanced Figma skills
Perfect spoken and written English
Excellent editorial and visual storytelling instincts
A clear understanding of ecommerce UX and conversion
Experience creating responsive designs for development
Experience working collaboratively with an experienced UX lead
The ability to work with an existing identity without automatically proposing a rebrand
Confidence using Confluence and Jira
Availability to begin immediately and work at pace
Excellent written and spoken English
Beautiful visuals alone will not be enough. The finished experience must help customers discover, understand, trust and purchase high-value, one-of-a-kind pieces.
