Full-Time Designer to Create Pillar Content Visuals

Job ID: 39771518

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

About Synapse

We’re a payments company that helps businesses cut processing costs with transparent interchange-plus pricing (no lock-ins). We’re building a best-in-class content hub (pillar + supporting posts) and need a full-time designer to own our visual system end-to-end.

Location: Remote (collaborate comfortably with Pacific/Honolulu hours)
Employment: Full-time

The role

You’ll create clear, conversion-minded visuals for web and print—comparison tables, mobile swipe cards, badges, checklists, icons, light charts, and CTAs. Ideally created in FIGMA.

First project (first 4 weeks)
• Pillar page visual system + assets:
o Desktop comparison table + mobile swipe cards
o Processor flexibility badges
o CTA modules (demo, statement review, calculator)
o Two quote checklists (PDF + web)
o Simple fee-breakdown charts and an effective-rate explainer graphic
o Small icon set (verification, inventory, loyalty, analytics, etc.)
• Deliverables: Figma source, SVG/PNG/WebP exports, print-ready PDFs

Ongoing responsibilities
• Visuals for supporting articles, guides, and comparisons
• Social/email cut-downs from long-form assets
• Maintain a reusable design system (tokens, components, usage notes)
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG AA contrast, readable type, alt-text guidance)
• Collaborate on landing pages, one-pagers, decks, and case studies
• (Nice to have) Light motion for CTAs or social (Lottie/GIF)

You’re a fit if you have
• 3–5+ years in B2B/SaaS/fintech or adjacent (agency or in-house)
• Expert Figma (components, variants, Auto Layout) + Adobe Illustrator
• Portfolio with clean data tables, charts, icons, and landing visuals
• Strong typography/spacing and accessibility instincts (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Comfort building tidy component libraries and export presets

Nice to have
• Basic motion (After Effects/Lottie) or presentation design (Keynote)
• Familiarity with SEO content structure (pillars/clusters) and schema basics
