We are embarking on an exciting project to develop a state-of-the-art web application using Next.js and a complementary browser plugin for Chrome. The initial stages of the project are already in motion, with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) designed in Figma and development underway. Our goal is to elevate the existing design to create a polished, user-friendly experience that stands out in the market.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer with extensive experience in Figma to enhance our current designs. The ideal candidate will help us refine the existing Figma files by adding intricate details such as icons, headers, subheaders, and tooltips. Additionally, they will create interactive click dummies in Figma to effectively showcase our application to potential customers.
The project involves managing Figma for different releases and continuously improving the design as the application evolves. A fundamental understanding of Node.js and Next.js is essential for designing components that our frontend developers can seamlessly integrate. Experience with the MUI component library is also required.
Objectives:
Enhance Existing Figma Designs: Add detailed elements like icons, headers, subheaders, and tooltips to refine the user interface.
Create Click Dummies: Develop interactive prototypes in Figma to demonstrate the application to stakeholders and potential customers.
Manage Design for Different Releases: Oversee the design process across various stages of the project, ensuring consistency and quality.
Design Evolution: Continuously improve and innovate beyond the current application state to keep the design fresh and engaging.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX design.
Proven expertise in Figma.
Basic knowledge of Node.js and Next.js to facilitate component design.
Familiarity with the MUI component library.
Commitment of around 5-10 hours per week.
Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to participate in daily meetings (initially) and working sessions to discuss the frontend development.
