Education Website Redesign: UI/UX Modernization
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m refreshing the entire online presence of Hermann Gmeiner Degree College and need a Figma-savvy UI/UX designer to take it from dated to boldly modern. The brief is to create 20–25 pages in total, with 12–15 unique layouts and the remaining pages built from reusable templates so the development team can scale content quickly.
Primary objective
• Modernize the visual design in a bold and vibrant style that still feels trustworthy for an academic audience.
Scope of pages
The core experiences that must shine are the Homepage, Admissions, and Campus Life sections. Around them sit Academics, News/Blogs, Faculty, Alumni, Gallery, Contact, and a handful of utility screens — all responsive for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
What I expect from you
• Low-fidelity wireframes that translate my sitemap into clear user flows
• High-fidelity Figma screens for every unique layout
• A lightweight design system: color palette, typography scale, grid & spacing rules, reusable components, and states
• Accessibility-minded choices (contrast, focus order, alt text guidance)
• Developer-ready handoff files, neatly organised with styles, variables, and naming conventions

If you’ve designed for colleges, universities, or other educational bodies, that background will help you understand our audience and content structure right away.
Collaboration
I’ll provide brand references and content outlines and be available for quick feedback cycles. Once the key directions are locked, you’ll iterate, document, and package everything so my dev team can move straight into build.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
1. Complete Figma project with:
– Sitemap-aligned wireframes
– Pixel-perfect high-fidelity screens (desktop & mobile breakpoints)
– Shared styles and components library
2. Design system PDF/Notion page summarising colour, type, iconography, and UI patterns
3. Developer handoff guidelines and exported assets where required
