Blips Mobile App Home-Screen UI Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a designer/developer to create the home page for my mobile app concept called Blips. The app is a location-based short video platform, and this job is only for the main home screen.
What I Need Built:
A map-based home screen centered on the user’s location.
Circular blips (profile images) placed as pins across the map.
A bottom navigation bar with standard buttons (Home, Blips, Profile, etc.).
A “Post Blip” button that opens the camera when tapped.
A top bar with a search field (to search locations or users) and optional filter button (to filter friends or nearby).
Design Goals:
Clean, modern, and highly attractive visual style.
Smooth map integration with crisp pins.
Bright, engaging colors with rounded buttons (inspired by TikTok + Google Maps).
Intuitive and minimalist layout so users immediately understand how to navigate.
Deliverables:
High-quality mobile screen design (Figma, XD, or Sketch).
(Optional but preferred) A simple prototype showing clickable interactions (e.g., tapping bottom nav, posting a blip).
Notes:
This project is only for the home page design — not the full app build. I want to see which designers can deliver the most polished and creative concept for the Blips home screen. If successful, there may be additional work for the rest of the app.

Experience designing map-based apps
Familiarity with social or video app design patterns
